Project Overview
This zebra was the very first multi-piece plush I ever crocheted and assembled. I selected the pattern from the book Snuggle and Play Crochet specifically because I wanted a project that would force me to practice clean color changes across rows.
Lessons & Construction
Building this piece was a major milestone in learning how to join separate crochet parts into a cohesive plush. Connecting the head, body, ears, and limbs required careful positioning and seaming using a yarn needle.
Looking back at the work, the progression in skill is clear—some of the stitches along the legs were a bit loose compared to my current tension control, but the overall structure held up well.
The finished zebra kept me company at home for about a year before I gifted it to my nephew for his 2nd birthday.
